Created in association with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, the garden showcases the beauty of plants and their practical use in medicine, food and industry.
It features a contemporary pavilion inspired by Kew's glasshouses, based on the structure of plant cells and beds of willows and wild flowers, such as foxgloves and salvias.
Marcus Barnett the designer, shows the Queen around the garden, which also attracted the Duchess of Cornwall. Lord Wilson said the healing power of plants was often overlooked.
