Patrick studied urban design and planning at University College London and Oxford Brookes University, and gained a Distinction at Masters degree level in landscape architecture from University of Greenwich.
He lectures at KLC School of Design on creative presentation and professional practice. Inspired by his first visit to the Chelsea Flower Show in 1995 and his childhood in the Peak District, he set up his own garden design and construction practice in Guildford - producing award-winning show gardens at both Chelsea and Hampton Court.
Attracted to Marcus Barnett by the diversity of its projects, he maintains variety in his own life by having homes in both Brighton and France, and has served as resident landscape architect on an ambitious educational development in the upland deserts of Ladakh in the Himalayas.
