Louisa brings a distinctive blend of strategic leadership and creative insight to her role as Managing Director. With a background in estate management and management consultancy, she transitioned into landscape design to follow a long-held passion rooted in her upbringing on a farm in the Gloucestershire countryside.

Since joining MBS in 2010, Louisa has developed deep expertise across all aspects of landscape design and construction. Today, she leads the studio with a focus on managing multi-disciplinary design teams and overseeing the delivery of large-scale country estates and private gardens. Her experience spans the full project lifecycle - from early concept development through to implementation - ensuring both design integrity and technical excellence.

Louisa is known for her calm, considered approach and her ability to navigate complex briefs with clarity and confidence. Under her leadership, the studio continues to grow its reputation for delivering refined, contextually responsive landscapes for clients in the UK and abroad.
