Chelsea

Inspired by the De Stijl art movement, the garden takes natural forms of the countryside and transforms them to purify the essence of a landscape.

The geometric plan of the garden, created by linear waterways, hedges and paths is softened through the use of naturalistic swathes of planting, punctuated by contrasting bold colour combinations, which echo the theme of the De Stijl movement’s modernist order versus nature’s disorder.
